We've been keeping pretty busy these last few couple weeks. Last week I got a bee in my bonnett about cleaning out the garage. We tried to keep the kids shoes on, but failed miserably. They were so disgustingly dirty, but they loved it. Sometimes I have to just step back and say "it's only dirt!" and let them go to town. We also celebrated Aaron's birthday last week. He was out of town for his birthday, but we surprised him with a little celebration before he left. While Aaron was out of town, something came over me and I decided to take the kids to the county fair by myself. Crazy!? Actually, I wasn't really by myself because I went with my friend, Julie, and her family (thank goodness). Again, a lot of dirt, but we really had fun and Ella just loved the rides and the pig races and Hannah thought all of the animals were pretty exciting.

why do kids love dirt. it must have some kind of chemical that attracts them..and dogs. our bathtub always has a lovely dirt ring after the kids take their bath. happy birthday Aaron!
How old is Aaron? I wish I would have known that you went to the fair because we love going to the fair. This year we didn't make it b/c of my catering, but it is fun...although, it is nothing like the Union County fair and the hot carnies!!!
You are in trouble!!! Why did you not tell me that Becky had a blog. I just happened to look at your "friends" links and saw her...oohhh! you're gonna get it!
How cute Aaron and Hannah have the same hair-do! j/k
Dang those are some crazy cute kids!
I am so glad you finally updated!!! Your girls are so cute.... can I have one??? j/k! I that is so funny that your kids love dirt b/c my BOYS hate getting dirty. The other day we were doing yard work and Logan fell in some dirt and barely got his hands dirty and wanted to go take a bath!!! crazy boy!
robbo you are so like me, I hate dirt, but like you said your kids don't care, they are just having fun! In Oregon there is a lot of dirt and mud, not from the steet but from the yard, so I have to learn to hold my breath. Remember make memories, and don't worry about the messes
